Working Experience in Bookfest Malaysia

Previously I had been working in Bookfest Malaysia 2016 (Theme: Read more, Malaysia!). The date of the bookfest was from 2nd July until 10th July. My friend get to know about this part time job via Fb and she invited me to work together as well. Well, I was quite free that time so why not give it a try? 

The set up of the bookfest started on 29th June which was two days after my final paper. (Thank God I have one day to rest my mind) The set up was challenging. We had to unpack the pellet of books, move it to the shelf and arrange it. There were six of us part timer in the booth -> Disney. I did not know anyone of them as we come from different universities. After some chat with them, we get to know each other and which universities we come from. We managed to finish the set up on the third day of preparation and we were so happy for it.

We play, joke, complain the trouble and spend time with each other throughout the 9 days of Bookfest. Time past so fast when I am with them. Despite the need of waking up at 7am in the morning and sleep at around 12am in the midnight, I still enjoy working there in the bookfest because I have them with me. 

The last day of wrapping up was indeed super exhausting again. We had to stay up all night to pack all the books and guess what??? I stayed awake for 24 hours that day!!

Can't believe the Bookfest just end like this. We survived!! These days were just so incredible that I get to work with many people of around my age. I missed the time and appreciate the moment with these people. Kinda miss them and wish that we can still keep in touch in the future. Not to forget about some new friends from other booths. They are awesome as well. 

That's all for my working experience in Bookfest Malaysia 2016. Will try more new things in my life to meet more people. =)
